Wilson's Football Factory is the Ada school Bulldog Business of the month for May. Ada schools nominate area businesses each month in appreciation for the support they give to the school system.
Jonathan Allen of Ada, a homeschooled student at Allen Academy, is the recipient of a Land Grant Opportunity Scholarship to attend Ohio State University in the fall.
The scholarship covers the full cost of attendance of $21,361 per year for four years. It includes tuition, room and board, books and miscellaneous costs. Jonathan will need to maintain a 3.0 grade point average to continue to receive the scholarship.
Land Grant Opportunity Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic merit and financial need. In Ohio 176 students received the scholarship this year, with an attempt to award scholarships annually to two students in each of Ohio’s 88 counties.
Rhonda Crouse of Ada has joined Coldwell Banker King Thompson, Marysville, as a realtor. She serves clients in the Ada, Bath and Lima areas and across northwestern and central Ohio.
She is a member of National Association of Realtors, West Central Association of Realtors, Columbus Board of Realtors. She has six year’s experience, from 2000-2006, as a realtor for Coldwell Banker King Thompson.
“I have worked in the hospitality field for the past 10 years,” she said. “This includes at The Inn At ONU, Hilton Garden Inn, Findlay, and Hancock Hotel, Findlay. I have also been a brand ambassador for several companies such as Lego, Disney and Straight Talk Wireless.”

BLUFFTON - The Ada Alligator summer swim team lost a dual meet at West Ohio Aquatic League foe Bluffton on a cool, overcast Monday evening.
Versatile Adaite Carlie Oldfield won five individual races across all strokes in the girls 13-14 age bracket to pace the Gators. She won the 50-meter freestyle, 50 butterfly, 50 backstroke, 100 free and 100 individual medley.
Gator Chloe Kemmere took first in four races in the girls 9-10 division. She won the 50 fly, 50 back, 50 free and 100 IM. Claire Kemmere finished first in three 11-12 events: the 100 free, 50 fly and 50 back.
