Workmen begin attaching flooring to the three-story College of Engineering building under construction on the ONU campus. The steel beams are in place.

The $30 million project is on schedule to open in a year. The building will accommodate twice as many engineering students compared to the current Biggs Engineering building, which opened in 1972. Engineering courses were first offered at ONU in 1881.
