Taxpayers in Hardin and surrounding counties can find free income tax assistance from Ohio Northern business students through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).

 

The VITA program offers free tax help to persons who generally make $54,000 or less who need assistance in preparing their tax returns. 

 

ONU students will offer free electronic filing (e-filing) services at the business college on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdayevenings from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Feb. 13 through April 5 (excluding March 6-8).Appointments are required.

 

The service dogs in training at ONU received a gift from the tennis team...tennis balls, of course, one of their favorite toys.

The Ada Junior High Flagline and High School Winter Guard completed at
Olentangy Liberty High School in OIPA circuit (Ohio Indoor Performance
Association) competition Sunday

The Junior High Flagline earned first place with their Harry Potter “Free
the Elves” theme which continues Hermione’s quest to free the house elves
from their masters by presenting them with socks.

Members of the Flag Line include Mitchel Frazier, Olivia Thomas, Tessa Long, Alaina Robirds, and Olivia Green.

The High School Winter Guard placed first in the Scholastic Open class.

 

The Ada Varsity Singers won second runner up trophy in class C at the Marion Harding competition on Saturday. Hunter Wells received the Best Performer award.
 

In honor of the centennial anniversary of Ada Boy Scouts and National
Scouting Week, Troop 124 of Ada invites you to a showing of "Follow Me,
Boys!", a Walt Disney production starring Fred MacMurray and Kurt Russell.
The movie will be shown at The Ada Theater on Sunday, February 11th at noon.
The event is free and open to the public.
