FROM ADA POLICE DEPARTMENT FACEBOOK__[On Wednesday, September 30] someone spoofing the phone number for the Ada Police Department attempted to scam an individual claiming they represented our department.
If you receive a call from our office and someone attempts to obtain money from you or claims that you have warrants or charges pending that need to be taken care of, please hang up and dial 419-634-0010 and request to speak with an officer.
On September 29, 2026, Debbie lost her battle with leukemia and was called home by her eternal father, but not before stopping at the rainbow bridge and getting her walking buddy Kody. Together again, they’ll meet the Lord with smiling faces.
Debbie was born on September 7, 1959, in Russell, KY, to James Brown and Mary (Bradley) Brown. Debbie graduated from Greenup County High School in 1977 and from Ohio University in 1989 and eventually achieved a master's plus 30 degree.

ADA__The Ada High School volleyball team lost a tough four-setter to visiting co-Blanchard Valley Conference leader Arlington in a key league match on Monday, Sept. 28.
Ada historian Lee Crouse will open his private Ada museum to the public on Sunday, October 11, from 2-5:00 p.m.
The open house will be at 4236 State Route 81, just over one mile east of State Route 235. This event is free.
Crouse is an avid collector of items related to the Ada, Ohio area. He notes that a lot has changed since the last open house, when the attached photos were taken.
