Ohio Northern University Residence Life will host a drive-thru trick-or-treat event Tuesday, according to Isaiah Bailey.
It takes placed from 5 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 20, and here are the details:
"In order to keep everyone safe and reduce the risk of covid-19 transmission, we will host a drive through trick or treat.
"The community is invited to drive through campus, entering on College Avenue by Cosi, and exiting onto Lima Avenue by the Affinity East Complex.
"Residence Life staff members will line the route, at a minimum of 6 feet apart, and will be dropping prepackaged candy into the bags through the car window using a butterfly net.
FROM ONU WEBSITE - In a time where anything “normal” in higher education is scarce, Ohio Northern University is still clinging tightly to one of its foundational pillars of existence: service.
Whether it looks like traditional community service, or something outside the box, our students live to serve others however they can, pandemic or not.
Thus far, Ohio Northern has been able to successfully implement COVID-19 safety measures and minimize risk without sacrificing a real, in-person college experience, and service is a large part of that experience.
On average, approximately 1,500 students volunteer roughly 50,000 hours of community service in a given year.
Ohio Northern University students and faculty will help shape the future of their community, country and the world by lending their knowledge and skills to the new Institute for Civics and Public Policy (ICAPP) at Ohio Northern University.
At this pivotal point in history, ICAPP is giving ONU students and faculty a voice in the national conversation. Non-partisan and education-based, it’s a bold and innovative initiative to promote good citizenship through education and information.

Now, on the heels of a global lockdown, a group of Ohio Northern University exercise physiology students are offering a new take on a traditional personal training course.
For many years, one of the foundational experiences for students in the exercise physiology program has been the “Practical Applications in Exercise Physiology” course.

The poll questioned self-identified registered, likely voters in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin on a variety of topics that may factor into the November election, including how voters plan to cast ballots, attitudes about Black Lives Matter and the handling of the coronavirus pandemic at the state and national level.
