Girls' bball game and film club

Two Ada school activities are cancelled for tonight, Monday, Jan. 21:

• The JV/varsity girls' basketball game tonight against Ridgemont has been cancelled and rescheduled for Feb. 4.

 • High school film club for tonight is cancelled.

Sheila A. Furry, 77, died on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at 3:10 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System. 

She was born on Oct. 23, 1941, in Lima, to Leo E. and Helen L. (Newman) Sibert, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 18, 1973 Sheila married Thomas E. “Tom” Furry and he survives in Lima.

Sheila was a homemaker.

Due to the bitter cold and icy roads, Bridge Bereavement Services is rescheduling the January "Living through Loss" presentation titled "Understanding Depression through Grief" for Monday, Jan. 28, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Marathon Auditorium of Blanchard Valley Hospital.

This is the same time, location and presenter, only a different date. The original date for this event was Jan. 21.

Quest Federal Credit Union will hold its annual meeting at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 16, at the Hardin County Fairgrounds Community Building, Kenton.

The meeting is open to all shareholders and is an opportunity for member/owners to hear from the Board of Directors, CEO, and others about the achievements and activities of the staff and board of Quest.

In addition, the annual business meeting will take place. A list of eligible directors is  below and a biography for each can be requested from any Quest branch.
