Polls on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, are open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
All persons in Ada vote at Community Health Professionals, that is Ada North and Ada South. All persons in Liberty Township vote at Center on Central.

The last date to register to vote in Ohio or change your voting address or change your name is Tuesday, Oct 9.

Early voting hours at the Board of Elections are:

• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 10 through Friday, Oct. 12
Monday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 19

• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 22 through Friday, Oct. 26

• 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 27

Ada Friends is open to Ada Students from Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

"The registration deadline has past, but we has several unmatched college students excited to become Bigs so we will be accepting applications on a rolling basis," said Kara Dilts of Friends.

Registration was sent to Ada Schools  in a paper packet format. The organization's Our kick-off party is Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the Chapel at Ohio Northern University from 4:30-6 p.m. This will be the first time the new Bigs and Littles will meet.

Now is the perfect time to check out the new library renovation (if you haven’t already) and check out some books. Vendor registration deadline is Monday; the show is Oct. 20

The Ada Music Boosters will hold a craft show Saturday, Oct. 20, in the Ada High School gym.

The show is open to the community from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $3.  For booth information, contact Lori Poling at [email protected]. Potential crafters may also open the printer-friendly booth application form at the bottom of the story.

Booth reservations are due by Monday, Oct. 1. A single booth is $35.

Harvest and Herb ticket winner

Carie Dotson  is the Ada Junior Civic League 50-50 Harvest & Herb ticket winner.  The annual fresh pecan sale is underway currently. Contact Jamie Wills at 419-236-4254 if interested in ordering. The club thanks the community for its continued support. 

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS — Juniors Chelsea Huppert and McKenna Jordan combined for 31 kills to lead No. 16-ranked Ohio Northern to a 25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 25-15 volleyball victory at John Carroll on Tuesday night at the DeCarlo Center.

The Polar Bears (11-3 overall) have now won their Ohio Athletic Conference opener for an impressive 25th consecutive season.

The Blue Streaks fall to 10-4, 0-1.
