This art work flows downstream. You'll find this interesting fountain of art in the Ohio Northern University Mathile Science Building. It's on a lobby and flows between the first and second floors. And that's flowing water contained in glass with fish-like objects surrounding the water-flowing stream.The wire sculptures were created by former ONU First Lady Toby Baker.

Received the bid on Monday in the 149-weight class

Ada HS grad and ONU freshman Chase Sumner was a late addition to the 180-man field for the 2020 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships March 13-14 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Sumner received a bid on Monday after a Central Regional qualifier from his 149-pound weight class became injured and could not compete.

Per NCAA rules, the fourth place finisher from the same region as the injured wrestler assumes that spot in the tournament.

Sumner joins ONU senior Seth Transue (Plain City/Jerome) and junior Cash Thompson (Lake Odessa, Mich./Lakewood) as Polar Bears at the Championships.

Health concerns about the Coronavirus virus have forced club to re-think the 2020 event

The Ada Kiwanis Club began a yearly tradition in the late winter of 1952 by sponsoring a Pancake and Sausage Day at the American Legion Hall in downtown Ada. That tradition has continued for the past 67 years.

The event has been held at various Ada locations: the Legion Hall, the Ada First United Methodist Church, the Ada V.F.W. and in recent years, the Ada High School Cafeteria.

The menu has remained the same: all-you-can eat whole hog sausage and pancakes.

Planning for the 2020 event began months ago and tickets went on sale just a few weeks ago.
