For the seventh year in a row, the Ada First United Methodist Women are making a queen-size quilt to be given away at the Harvest and Herb Fest.
Tickets are available from United Methodist Women and the church office. Proceeds from the ticket sales support missions.
The drawing will be held at the N-Men’s Club at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The open house is from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, at 8359 State Route 68, Kenton. The residence has two fireplaces, three bedrooms, two baths and a 30 by 60 pole barn.
The next meeting of the Hardin County Democratic Central and Executive Committees will be held Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. at Henry’s Restaurant, 995 North Detroit Street, Kenton. Committee members should park on the north side of the restaurant and enter the main doors.
Final plans will be made for the Fall Campaign Luncheon to be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church north of Kenton on State Route 68 at 13502 Township Road 80. Carry out orders will be available at 11:30 a.m..
President Myrna McCurdy called the weekly meeting of the Ada Kiwanis Club to order at 12:00 noon on Tuesday September 3rd at McIntosh Center, ONU.
Jon Umphress offered the invocation.
