The long wait is almost over for the writers, dreamers, time-wasters and schemers who have been without a hang-out since Ada’s only coffee shop, Northern On Main, closed for good last May. Its replacement, Cosi, is slated to open in early August, according to officials at Ohio Northern University.

The Ada watertower painting is underway. And the Ada High School football stadium is looking pretty good also, thanks to a well-deserved overhaul.

Bulldog fans will also find a golden bulldog on his haunches under the press box. Fans will also appreciate an update on the two popular football players on the press box back side.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and may be purchased at the bank.
Bank employees created the fundraiser in 1990 to help local children stay warm during the winter.
