ONU soccer teams "Kicks for a Cause" on Saturday

The Ohio Northern men's and women's soccer programs have joined forces again to host the fourth annual "Kicks for a Cause" fundraiser.

The event, which raised close to $1,000 last year, will take place during the OAC double header against Baldwin Wallace on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The Kicks for a Cause event began as a way to raise awareness and give back towards all forms of cancer.

All of the proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Both the men's and women's teams will warm up in Kicks for a Cause t-shirts, which were designed by sophomore women's soccer team member Hannah Moloney.

It's 11 p.m. on Friday night - do you know where your stuffed animal is? (Probably at the library)

There's a line in Babes in Toyland that goes: "Toyland, Toyland...once you cross its border you can never return again."

But, with a little imagination, perhaps you can. Take, for example the Ada Public Library's stuffed animal sleepover that took place Friday night. One glance at the photos in the essay at the bottom of this story, and maybe you'll have second thoughts.
