Both Ohio Northern University indoor track teams continued to be ranked nationally.
Women's team
The Ohio Northern women's indoor track and field team are ranked No. 7 nationally in the second weekly United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Div. III power rankings, released on Tuesday.
The Polar Bears (4-2 overall) scored 111.96 pointsin the rankings, which are based on national performance rankings with bonus points for exceptional times. That is xx less than the 151.85 points in the first poll.
The power rankings include just a small portion of all schools that plan to compete this season.

ADA — Junior Megan Lubinski (Loveland/ Brighton) and Sophomore Shelby Starkey (Bellefontaine) won four events each to lead the Ohio Northern women's swimming and diving team to a 187-87 season-opening victory over Wilmington at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.
The Polar Bears improve to 1-0 overall and are 1-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Quakers fall to 0-1, 0-1.

ALLIANCE — Junior Brandon Waugh (Columbus/Northland) and sophomore C.J. Napier (Miamisburg/Bishop Fenwick) each had double-doubles to lead the Ohio Northern men's basketball team in a 94-72 loss at Mount Union in a battle of league unbeatens on Saturday afternoon
The Polar Bears fall to 2-1 overall and 2-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Purple Raiders improve to 3-0, 3-0.
Both ONU and MtU were scheduled to play other teams this weekend, but their opponents were forced to cancel their games due to COVID-19 protocol issues, so the two teams agreed to a Saturday afternoon contest on Friday afternoon.

ADA — Senior Sydney Ward (Columbus/Upper Arlington) had her first career double-double to lead the Ohio Northern women's basketball team in a 69-62 loss to Otterbein on Saturday night at the ONU Sports Center.
Ward scored a career-high 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Polar Bears (1-3 overall, 1-3 Ohio Athletic Conference).

The Ada junor high wrestling team competed at the 16-team Seneca East Invitational last weekend.
Starting out strong, Ada went 7-0 before losing a hard-fought match.
At the end of the day with only five wrestlers, Ada still managed to finish a solid ninth.
Ada results by weight class:
98 lbs. Liam Vieira went 2-2 and placed fourth.
116 lbs. Aedyn Beckwith went 4-1 and placed second.
122 lbs. Marley Bulerin went 1-3 and placed fourth.
128 lbs. Eli Esguerra went 4-1 and placed second.
150 lbs. Josh Arnett went 2-2 and placed third.
