FINDLAY — The Ohio Northern men's golf team wrapped up its 2018-19 fall schedule with a fifth place finish at the Defiance Fall Invitational on Friday at Red Hawk Run Golf Course.
The Polar Bears ended 10-24 overall finishing fifth of five teams.
Senior Joshua Turich and freshman Nolan Kimberly led ONU with 80s, tying for 14th place out of 41 golfers.

Saturday's Contest: The contest features a battle of upper division OAC schools and is ONU's first home game since Sept. 15, a span of 28 days. ONU is 535-493-36 in 124 seasons of play, a winning percentage of .518. ONU and JCU are in a 3-way tie for third place in the OAC with Baldwin Wallace with 3-1 records.
Four different Polar Bears found the scoresheet as the Ohio Northern men's soccer program racked up its 10th victory of the 2018 regular season, knocking off Ohio Athletic Conference foe Wilmington 4-1 at Kerscher Stadium in Ada, Ohio Wednesday evening.
With the midweek triumph, Northern improves to 10-3-1 overall and to 3-1-0 in conference play this season, pushing them past Wilmington in the league standings. Meanwhile, the Quakers drop to 7-5-0 overall with a 2-2-0 mark in the OAC.
WILMINGTON - The Ohio Northern women's soccer program received goals from five different players to claim a 5-0 victory over Ohio Athletic Conference foe Wilmington on the road Wednesday night, extending the team's current win streak to 10 matches.
The Polar Bears, who moved to 10-2-0 on the season with an undefeated 4-0-0 mark in OAC action, secured their ninth shutout of 2018 in the win. The Quakers would drop to 8-4-0 overall and move to 2-2-0 in conference play.
ROUNDHEAD - The Ada cross country team ran at the five-team Hardin County Invitational meet on a hilly Roundhead course Tuesday evening.
"Last night's county meet went well considering the hilly course," said Ada head coach Josh Klein. "Our times were a little slower than normal, but given we had to run our longest hill to date - not just once, or twice, but three times - I am still happy with our performance."
The Bulldog boys took fourth of five teams, finishing right behind third-place USV.
