NEW KNOXVILLE - The Ada boys basketball team fell 55-39 at New Knoxville Saturday night in a non-league bout.
Their third road defeat in five days dropped the Bulldog cagers to 2-6. Meanwhile, NK evened its mark at 4-4 with the victory.
Junior Ethan Swaney led the Bulldogs with a career-high 14 points. Senior Jordan Bailey contributed 10 points.
NK methodically ground out the victory, winning each quarter. The Rangers knocked down 21 free throws in 34 tries, including 14 of 19 in the fourth quarter.
PORTLAND, Ind. - The Ada boys swim team finished a solid fifth out of 13 teams at the Jay County Invitational in northeast Indiana Saturday.
The Lady Bulldogs came in 13th in their 15-team field.
Oak Hill won both the boys and girls team titles with 439 points on each side. The Bulldog boys team totaled 205 points.

ADA — Ohio Northern had five players score in double figures and shot 59 percent from the floor in a 101-91 victory over No. 13-ranked Marietta on Saturday afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears (6-7 overall, 4-2 Ohio Athletic Conference) got 19 points each from seniors Devon Allen (Lima/Senior), Konnor Baker (Ada) and Aron Thress (Lancaster/Amanda-Clearcreek).
The Polar Bears meet Baldwin Wallace at 7 p.m. on Wednesday In the ONU Sports Center.
ADA - A two-week layoff did nothing to dull the shooting eye of the Crestview girls basketball team.
The visiting Lady Knights shot over 60 percent from the field and also employed a tough defense to stifle Ada 75-35 and record a convincing Northwest Conference victory Thursday night.
The Lady Bulldogs had their three-game win streak snapped as they fell to 4-4 overall and 0-3 in NWC action. Crestview improved to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in the NWC with their third consecutive victory.
ADA — The No. 15 ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team used a strong second half to defeat Otterbein 78-61 Wednesday evening at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears remain perfect, improving to 12-0 overall and 5-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Cardinals fall to 5-7, 1-4.
Senior Britt Lauck (Lima/Shawnee) led Northern offensively with a game-high 17 points, while junior Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) tallied her second double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Junior Courtney Cramer (Arcadia) and sophomore Jenna Dirksen (Beavercreek/Carroll) each added 12 points for the Polar Bears.
