A 32-member youth choir from Messiah United Methodist Church in Westerville will present a concert of music and handbells at the United Methodist Church in Ada at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4.
The program will be preceded by a potluck dinner at 6 p.m.

Bob Gould and his wife Abby (formerly Abby Epley) head to Uganda on June 4 to help build a school and share The Gospel as part of their mission work with their local church, Crossroads Church of God located on State Route 309 west of Ada.
The team will also include Ada residents Christian and Kayla Breedlove and Anna Yoakam among the seven people going this year.
Bob says most of the people on the islands of Lake Victoria live in mud huts without electricity or running water.
He has gone to the African nation six times to help build churches and schools. The nation is roughly 85% Christian and 12% Muslim.
Camp Discovery, St. Mark's Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School is now accepting registrations for their June 8-12 VBS.
The VBS takes place from 9 a.m. to noon from Monday through Friday, June 8-12. It is open to any pre-school age through sixth grade youth. Seventh grade through adults are leadership helpers.

The 2015 Ada High School baccalaureate service is at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 20, at the Ohio Northern University chapel.
There will be worship from area ministers, readings from the senior class, faculty blessings and music from Dave Lusk. The baccalaureate address is by Lyn Davis. Music will be performed from senior choir and band members.
County Line Church of the Brethren's 9th annual car show is planned Saturday, July 11, at the church, 4227 N. Hardin Road, Harrod.
Registration is from 11 a.m. to noon. The show is from noon to 3 p.m. There is a $10 entry fee with door prizes for car owners plus Top Ten Awards presented.
A chicken barbecue takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets are $8. Call 419-649-5364 for tickets.
The show also includes children's activities with face painting and a bounce house. Funds generated from the afternoon are used to pay for the church's new activity center.
