Marcene Jane Pope, 79 of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away at 8:56 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020.
She was born on Jan. 5, 1941 in Bluffton, Ohio, to Oscar and Vera (Herr) Zimmerman who preceded her in death. Marcene married Joseph Pope on Sept. 25, 1960 and they later divorced.
Marcene was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her cat “Boo Boo”. She was a graduate of Bluffton High School.

Our world has been turned upside down by COVID-19.
For the most part, we have never walked this road before – personally or as communities. Many are facing loss of work, depletion of savings, delays in unemployment or other assistance, and so forth.
