ADA__The Ada High School boys soccer team defeated visiting Spencerville 4-0 in a non-league match on Saturday, September 6.

The shutout win upped the Bulldog record to 3-2-1. Ada scored all four goals in the first half by a pair of juniors.

The Bearcats fell to 0-4-1 with the defeat. 

“I’m really proud of the team’s performance today,” said Ada head coach Aaron Acheson. “We came out with intensity, controlled possession, and created a lot of chances. The fact that we had three different players providing assists shows how connected we are as a unit.”

MT. CORY__The Ada High School volleyball team swept a tri-match at Cory-Rawson on Saturday, September 6.

The non-league wins improved the Bulldog girls record to 8-1.

Ada rallied to beat Delphos Jefferson 22-25, 25-14, 25-12. 

Junior setter Jaylin St. Laurent served three aces and dished out 17 assists.

Brooklynn Andreasen served up three aces, came up with three blocks and hit eight kills. 

Dailah Preston drilled six kills, dealt a pair of aces and made five blocks.

Anna Conley came up with three blocks.

ADA__The Ada High School girls soccer team defeated visiting Spencerville 3-0 in a non-league match at War Memorial Stadium on Saturday, September 6.

The Bulldog girls improved to 8-1 with the decisive win.

The Bearcats dropped to 0-4-1 after the defeat.

Ada junior Kenley Poling netted a hat trick to score all three goals in the game.
Emily Shanks passed out two assists, and Ashley Williams dished out one helper.

Ada keeper Emily Gibson made five saves in goal.
