The Butler (PG-13) is showing now at Ada Theatre until Thursday, September 26. 

Friday and Saturday shows are at  7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

Daily shows at 7 p.m.

All tickets are $4.

Apollo superintendent to retire; board plans a rehire

Judy Wells, Superintendent, Apollo Career Center, is retiring Jan. 31, 2014.

The Board of Education proposes to re-employ Judy Wells, Superintendent, in the same
position she is retiring from, at its regular Board of Education meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday,
Nov. 25,2013, at the Apollo Career Center.

The Board of Education welcomes public comment at its Monday, Oct. 28, 2013,
7 p.m. meeting at the Apollo Career Center, 3325 Shawnee Road, Lima.

A chance to redeem yourself with your overdue book fines at the library

Want a creative way to pay off your Ada Public Librry overdue book fines?

From Monday, Sept. 16, until Friday, Sept. 27, the Ada Public Library will be collecting canned goods and non perishable items to assist the local food pantry, according to Amanda Bennett, director.

Your donation will clear fines of $5 or less from your account (Food donations do not count toward replacement fees).

The library will be closed on Saturday for the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Harvest and Herb Fest.
