Patricia Helms 1936-2015
Patricia Ann Helms, 78, died on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at 3 p.m. at her residence in Ada.
She was born on April 24, 1936, in Lima, Ohio, to Jacob Arthur and Margaret Marie (Houser) Binkley and they preceded her in death. Patricia married on Nov. 6, 1954 Victor L. Helms and he died on Oct. 6, 2009.
Patricia was a homemaker. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada.
She is survived by a son, Duane Lee Helms of Cox’s Creek, Ky., and a daughter, Kaylene Marie (Jeff Evans) TenEyck of Ada; six grandchildren: Monica Lee Helms, Duane Lee Helms, Jr., Misty Lynn Helms, Thomas Eric (Amber) TenEyck, Natasha Marie TenEyck and Katlin Sue (Matt) Huggins; 12 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Donna Binkley of Ada.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Theresa Ann Helms and Monica Sue Helms; a granddaughter, Nicole Lynn TenEyck; a brother, Gerald Arthur; a sister, Wilma Mae Smith.
Funeral services will begin at noon on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Rev. David Young officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada.
Arrangements are by Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
