Try to blow out the candles on these cakes at Viva Maria's
A mural of big, colorful birthday cakes adorns a dining room at Viva Maria Pizza and Pasta...painted by none other than the proprietor and chief cook himself...Dominic Fricano.
The 20-seat room, near the front door, often serves as a celebration location and dining place for birthday and anniversary parties.
Dominic sought a happy and bright motif for the room. The painting of the giant cakes covers all four walls.
"While I was painting I was at complete peace, it was very relaxing," Dominic related. For him the mural project was a great time to unwind from the tension of having a busy business, for customers the murals bring about a cheerful and delightful atmosphere.
