Over 200 area high school leaders clean up the town - in a manner of speaking
Eleven high school students attending a leadership conference on campus helped garden for four hours on Saturday at the Railroad Depot Park, including Chase Wagoner from Carey (left) and Thomas Shauk from Galion.
More than 200 students fanned out throughout the village to assist the village, homeowners, and businesses with chores. ONU hosts the four-day HOBY conference annually in early June.
A part of each year is devoted to assisting the local community. The purpose of the conference is to teach leadership skills to outstanding youth.
