Grass Run Creek is about the only waterway in town since, fortunately, Ada sits a little higher than neighboring land. There are no rivers to cause flooding.
Also, Ada is near the divide with rain just south of us going to the Gulf of Mexico while rain north of Ada heads to Lake Erie. Water in town drains more rapidly than in other places, but so much of it the past few weeks is unwelcome, except for fish and ducks.
