Think sand beaches far to the south - there's a calypso concert on Dec. 1
These shiny instruments will soon be sounding out happy music, Caribbean/calypso style.
The ONU Steel Drum concert is slated for 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1 in Presser Hall. It's free and open to the public.
For a few minutes anyway, the music will transport you from chilly Ada to a pink sand beach far to the south, if you use your imagination. (Monty Siekerman)
