Rev. Ronald Fry was retired from Rudolph Foods
Rev. Ronald L. Fry, 75, died on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at 8:50 a.m. at residence in Alger.
He was born on April 3, 1940, in McGuffey, Ohio, to Robert E. and Jane (Newland) Fry who preceded him in death. On June 6, 1959, he married Dorthey Jean Lamb and she died on AuG. 31, 2013.
Ronald retired after 29 years from Rudolph Foods of Westminster where he worked as a fryer and he also enjoyed farming. He was a graduate of McGuffey High School class of 1958. He was a member of the Victory Chapel of Praise Harrod, Ohio.
He is survived by two daughters: Deanna (Jack) Jordan and Donna (Tom) Yaussy both of Alger; eight grandchildren: M. Shane (Steph) Jordan, Jackie Wireman, Jacob Sanders, Joslyn (Ryan) Snyder, Alicia (Brandon) Vermillion, Lyle Yaussy, Olivia Yaussy and Christian Yaussy; special family: Evan Lewis and Megan Robinson; eight great grandchildren: Rodd Jordan, Jennifer Jordan, Alexis Jordan, Aric Jordan, Ashton Cowan, Riley Snyder, Hadassah Vermillion and Baby Snyder; a brother, W. Gene (Charlotte) Fry of McGuffey.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rev. Rodney Fry, and a sister, Lucille Bailey.
A funeral service will begin at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, Jan. 12, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor Terry Robinson officiating. Burial will be in McDonald-Fairview Cemetery, Kenton.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 11, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Universal Home Health and Hospice of Kenton.
