Margaret Zeller 1946-2016
Margaret A. Zeller, 69, died on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at 11:11 a.m. at her residence in Harrod, Ohio, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born on Nov. 4, 1946 in Fremont, Ohio, to Robert and Mary Hotz who preceded her in death. On July 26, 1969, she married Richard T. Zeller and he died on July 11, 2001.
Margaret was a graduate of Fremont St. Joseph High School and Mary Manse College. She was a medical technologist and farm wife. Margaret retired from Bluffton Hospital Laboratory after 25 years. She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada. Margaret was a member of the Hay Tumblers Farm Bureau Council, Allen East Young Farmers and was a 4H Advisor.
She is survived by her children: Amy (Alan) Myers of Bluffton, Mary Beth Zeller of Harrod, Rebecca (Mike) Loeffler of Delaware, James (Stephanie) Zeller of Harrod and Joseph (Ashley) Zeller of Harrod; 10 grandchildren: Zane, Grace and Greta Myers; Josh and Clara Loeffler; Lilly, Ryker and Quinn Zeller; Sophia and Zoe Zeller. She was the oldest of eight children, survived by four brothers and three sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 300 East Highland Avenue, Ada, with Father David Young officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Westminster.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
