AnnaMae Lawrence 1942-2016
AnnaMae C. Lawrence (Brundage), 73, died on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016, at 2:08 a.m. at her residence in Ada, while surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 7, 1942, in Orange County, Newburgh, N.Y., to Everett Lauren and Mildred A. (Brewster) Brundage. Her father (1967) and her mother (1985) preceded her in death. On Nov. 20, 1970 she married Donald M. Lawrence who preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1997.
AnnaMae dedicated most of her life to being a homemaker and taking care of her children. AnnaMae was a member of the County Line Church of the Brethren, rural Ada.
She is survived by a son, Donnie (Beth) Lawrence of Ada; three daughters: Stephanie Frazier and April (Ronald “Sonny”) Kindle of Ada and Melody (Gary) Smith of Beaufort, S.C.; two brothers: Everett (Diane) Brundage of Highland Mills, N.Y. and Stan (Lois) Brundage of Huber Heights; four sisters: Gloria Hedden and Marion Sonner of Walden, N.Y., Caroline Caston of Pine Bush, N.Y. and Joan Lenhart of Ada; 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren and one great grandson who preceded her in death.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, at County Line Church of the Brethren, 4227 N. Hardin Road, Harrod with Pastor Thomas Dearth officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 21, at County Line Church of the Brethren, and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to County Line Church of the Brethren.
