ONU women face Denison in first round of DIII action

No. 10-ranked Ohio Northern will travel to Holland, Mich., and will face No. 23-ranked Denison in the First Round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament on Friday.
The Polar Bears (22-4 overall) are making their third NCAA Tournament appearance in the past four seasons and won the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title with a 17-1 record.
The Big Red are 23-4 on the season and won the North Coast Athletic Conference regular season title with a 15-1 mark.
Both Ohio Northern and Denison received at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament.
The ONU-DU winner will face either No. 6 Hope (Mich.) or Carnegie Mellon (Pa.) in the Second Round on Saturday.
A total of 64 teams were selected for the Women's NCAA Division III Tournament.
