Paul Wolber was a farmer for over 60 years
Paul L. Wolber, 73, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at 7:58 p.m. at Blanchard Valley Health System. Findlay.
He was born on Nov. 10, 1942, to Ralph Leonard and Bernice Marie (Casper) Wolber who preceded him in death.
Paul was a farmer for over 60 years and was very proud that the home place had been in the family for over 100 years. He also owned and operated an Auto Body Repair Shop and was a farm machinery jockey. Paul enjoyed the art of conversation and appreciated the skill of a well restored vehicle. He was a member of the St. John “Blocktown” Evangelical Lutheran Church, Dola.
Paul is survived by his two daughters: Brenda Wolber of Jenera and Michele (Carl) Landskron of LaFayette, Ind.; two grandchildren: Carl Landskron and Catherine Lankskron; a brother, David (Barbara) Wolber of Forest; and his “lady friend”, Nyla Williams of Van Wert.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5015 County Road 115, Dola, Ohio 45835. Burial will be in Dunkirk Cemetery, Dunkirk.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ad, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5015 County Road 115, Dola, Ohio 45835.
