Dora Ann Price 1925-2016
Dora Ann Price, 90, died on Friday, March 4, 2016, at 8:15 p.m. at her residence in Ada.
She was born on July 13, 1925 in Hardin County, Ohio to Orpha and Estella (Bailey) Clark who preceded her in death. On May 28, 1946 she married Ralph A. Price and he preceded her in death on Sept. 5, 1995.
Dora Ann was a retired secretary from the Charles VanDyne Law Office.
Dora Ann is survived by two daughters: Sue (Pete) Reese and Cindy (Paul) Simon both of Ada and a son: Michael Price of Alabama; a son-in-law: Skip Wharton of Henderson, Nev.; 10 grandchildren: Daniel (Gina) Wolfle, Brent Wolfle, Amy (Jim) Blackmore, Melissa (Philip) Werline, Matthew (Emily) Reese, John (Jeni) Simon, Brooks Simon, Bruce Simon, Jason Price and Jackie Amos and 18 great grandchildren; a sister: Alice Anspach of Ada and brother-in-law: Kenny Halbedel, of Newark, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by: a daughter, Nancy Wharton; a brother: Gordon Clark; a sister: Peggy Halbedel: two sisters-in-law: Annabelle Orders and Velma Clark and a brother-in-law: Stanley Anspach.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Charles VanDyne presiding. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 7, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and until the time of the service on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Autism Speaks, 470 Glenmont Ave., Columbus, Ohio 42312 and/or the American Cancer Society.
