Estill Williams 1934 - 2016
Estill L. Williams, 81, died on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 4:20 a.m. at the Lima Manor Nursing Home, Lima.
He was born on Dec. 20, 1934, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to Elmer and Leatha (Holbrook) Williams who preceded him in death. On June 3, 1952, he married Bobbie Jean Ramey and she survives in Lima.
Estill was a machinist at TeleDyne Ohio Steel for 28 years, he retired in 1990. He was a member of the United Baptist Church of Alger.
Also surviving are his four daughters: Vicki Harp of Kenton, Denise (Doug) Lawrence of Harrod, Renee’ (J.D.) Fleece of Alger and Melissa (Steven) Dunahay of Ada; 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and a sister, Isana Kay Shepherd of McGuffey.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory D. Williams; a granddaughter, Macy Harp; and a sister, Leatrice Prater.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 20, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Don Holbrook officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 20, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association at 471 E. Broad Street Suite 1630-16th Floor, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
