ONU women's tennis named an ITA Academic All-American team;

The Ohio Northern women's tennis team has been named a 2016 Academic All-American Team by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for the 2015-16 season.
This marks the 13th time in the last 15 years ONU has been honored.
In addition, seniors Elise Smith and Taryn Stromback and sophomore Lynn Kelly were named Scholar Athletes by the ITA.
Smith posted a 13-6 singles mark, a 14-5 doubles record and a 27-11 overall record in her one season on the Polar Bear roster.
Stromback ended her career as a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, including First Team notice this season, and ranks fourth all-time at ONU with a 145-44 record.
This season, she led the Polar Bears with a 35-7 overall record posting a perfect 16-0 record in OAC play.
Kelly is a two-time All-OAC honoree and earned First Team All-OAC kudos this year.
She was 28-6 overall and 8-1 in OAC regular season action this season.
In her two years at Ohio Northern, Kelly boasts a 74-17 overall record.
The Polar Bears posted a 19-4 record in 2016 under 16th year head coach Scott Wills.
