Lady Bulldog netters start 1-1

The Ada girls tennis team earned its first girls tennis win of the young season Thursday at Fostoria by the score of 4-1.
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 1-1 with the win, while Fostoria dropped to 0-1.
Ada individual winners were seniors Meredith Marshall and Libbie Milks at first and second singles, respectively.
Marshall won easily 6-1, 6-0 while Milks recorded a three-set comeback victory by a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 count.
The Ada first doubles team of Callee Young and Samantha Crawford also captured a three-set battle 6-3, 2-6, 6-3.
Bulldogs Paige Hopson and Melina Temple won at second doubles by forfeit.
Last Wednesday, Shawnee came to Ada and defeated the Lady Bulldog netters 5-0 in the home and season opener.
Ada plays next in the Lima Invite at UNOH Saturday morning.
