Bulldog sports update

ADA - The host Ada girls soccer team lost to Bluffton 3-0 in a Northwest Conference match Saturday morning.
The Lady Bulldogs fell to 3-7-1 overall and 2-2 in the NWC with the defeat.
Bluffton tallied all three of its goals in the first half. Sarah Thiesen netted two scores and Abbie Parkins added one goal.
The Pirates out-shot Ada, 16-4. Lady Bulldog keeper Rielyn Castle made 13 saves in goal.
The Bulldog girls visit Cory-Rawson September 28.
Ada spikers 3rd at Minster Invite
MINSTER - The Ada volleyball team finished a solid third at the eight-team Minster Invitational Saturday.
The Lady Bulldogs improved to 10-6 with two wins in three matches.
Ada defeated Russia and Covington, and lost to Marion Pleasant.
The Lady Bulldogs return to action Monday at home vs. county rival Kenton, then visit backyard NWC rival Allen East Tuesday.
