Ada senior standout Jordan Bailey and speedy junior Chase Sumner were both voted first team All-Northwest Conference on offense and defense by the league football coaches in a meeting this past Monday at Delphos.
Bailey and Sumner each were named first team all-league wide receivers. Bailey also made first team at linebacker, while Sumner made it as a defensive back.
Bulldog senior Mason Klingler was voted first team all-league as a defensive lineman.
Ada junior Jacob Hoschak, senior wideout Owen Conley and junior quarterback Seth Conley were all named to the NWC second team offense.
Sophomore Nathan Mattson was voted honorable mention all-league on the offensive line. Junior kicker/returner Aaron Everhart was the HM NWC specialist.
Linemen Hoschak, sophomore Noah Mattson, junior linebacker Ethan Swaney and junior DB Jackson Conrad were all named honorable mention All-NWC on defense.
Ada finished 5-2 in the NWC, good for third place behind Delphos Jefferson (7-0) and Spencerville (6-1).
Delphos Jefferson seniors Hunter Binkley and Jace Stockwell were voted NWC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively.
Binkley was selected as a first team all-conference running back for the third year in a row. Stockwell was chosen as a first-team choice at defensive back for the second straight year.
Jefferson head coach Chris Sommers was selected league Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year in voting by his peers.
