Monday night's Merry on Main puts you in the Christmas spirit
Ada’s Area Chamber of Commerce wants Ada residents to catch the holiday spirit.
From 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, there are plenty of opportunities to start thinking Christmas as Merry on Main launches the season in Ada.
Here’s the schedule:
• View the Christmas lights at the Depot park
• Visit Santa and his Reindeers at the Ada Public Library
• Listen to Chris Grey and friends singing carols up and down Main Street
• Then, stop by the Depot and pick up a ballot to vote for your favorite decorated downtown window. Drop off your ballot at the Depot anytime between 5 and 6:50 p.m.
While you check out the windows, voting on your favorite, stop in the following businesses that will be open and have Christmas snacks:
• Ada Flea Market - popcorn
• Eye on Main - treats
• Health Trends/Jolliff’s Cleaning - cookies and milk
• Edward Jones - brownies and coffee
• Century 21 Sunway Realty - cookies and hot chocolate
• ReStore - treat bags for youth donated by Community Health Professionals
• Steamline Insurance Solutions - treats
• Cole Humphrey Insurance - treats
• Jalapeno’s - chips and dips – and from 4 to 8 p.m. will hold a Dine to Donate event that gives 10 percent of all sales to the ONU Pack A Way Committee
