Sandra L. Herrington,  62, died on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 at 11:50 p.m. at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1954, in Jacksonville, North Carolina to Clifford Ernest and Barbara Jean (Brite) Herrington, who preceded her in death.

Sandra previously worked as a Nuclear Medicine Technician and a hairdresser. She was a graduate of Ada High School in 1973 and from the University of Findlay.

She is survived by loving family and friends including a brother, Thor Herrington of Lima; four sisters: Roxanne West of Lima, Lark (Michael) Hytinen of Champion, MI, Gretchen Hull of Sugar Grove and Barbara (Kenneth) Herrington-Clemens of Port Clinton; numerous nieces and nephews; Bill Sherman and Jim and Linda Schwind all of Ada.

Memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Deacon J. Michael Hood officiating. Inurnment and a private family service will be at Preston Cemetery, Alger at a later date.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Monday, Dec. 12,  from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
