Board members of Ada Community Improvement Corp. (CIC) were elected for 2017 at the Dec. 21 monthly meeting of the group.

Board members elected for terms from Jan. 1, 2017, to Dec. 31, 2018 follow:
• Beth Fenton
• Jamie Hall
• Angela Polachek
• Norm Rex
• Don Traxler

Dick Lawrence, a CIC member for many years, announced his retirement from the board. At the Jan. 18 meeting officers will be elected.

Reports at the meeting included the announcement that Cassie Collins, an Ada village employee, will manage the Ada pool in 2017.

Concerning news on the pools renovation, Jami Hall said that bids fore the bathhouse will be posted in January with bid openings in February and bid approvals set for March. The pool project will begin following the close of the 2017 swim season.
