Wrestling: Sumner wins title, 100th match at VB

Ada junior Chase Sumner won the 138 lb. title and notched his 100th career win in the process at the 30-team Van Buren Invitational last weekend. Sumner recorded a 7-5 decision over Delphos Jefferson's Wyatt Place in the finals.
Swanton won the team title with 234 points. Ada finished 15th out of 30 squads with 59.5 points. Freshman Damien Cameron finished fourth at 113 lbs., losing to Collins of Gibsonburg by pin in the third-place match.
