Women remain undefeated, win by 30
Junior Amy Bullimore (Morrow/Little Miami) posted her fourth consecutive double-double to help the No. 5-ranked Ohio Northern women's basketball team to an 89-59 victory over John Carroll Saturday afternoon at the ONU Sports Center.
The Polar Bears remain perfect on the year and improve to 23-0 overall and 16-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference standings, while the Blue Streaks fall to 6-17, 4-12.
Bullimore posted a team-high 20 points, and a game-high 10 rebounds and two blocks.
Senior Britt Lauck (Lima/Shawnee) posted a solid stat line as she poured in 19 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out five assists and added a game-best six steals.
Freshman Abby Weeks (Cincinnati/Mount Notre Dame) chipped in 10 points for the Polar Bears.
Northern will travel to Otterbein on Wednesday evening for a 7:30 pm tipoff, before celebrating Senior Day next Saturday in the regular season finale against Marietta.
