Parent-teacher conference time for Ada students
It's parent-teacher conference time for Ada schools.
Conferences for students in grades K-12 start on on Monday, Nov. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you've not yet set up an appointment call the high school office today.
Students will attend school on Monday, Nov 19. There will not be school on Nov. 20 and 21. Thanksgiving break is Nov. 22 and 23.
Conference Format
Elementary: Conferences will be student-led. Parents should bring their child with them so that the student, along with his or her teacher(s) can share information about this year's progress. Parents had the opportunity to sign up for conference times at Open House in most cases. Reminders will be sent home.
Grades 7-8: Conferences are on a first-come, first served basis with language arts, math, science and social studies teachers. If parents wish to meet with teachers other than the core areas, contact the HS office to schedule an appointment with those teachers. Parents should have received info from the school detailing the processs.
Grades 9-12: Some parents will receive an invitation asking that they meet with specific teachers. All parents are encouraged to attend if they wish to discuss their child's progress. In order to meet with teachers, parents are asked to call the HS office to schedule an appointment time.
