DELPHOS - Ada senior Owen Conley was named second team All-Northwest Conference in boys basketball by the league coaches in voting recently conducted at the annual selection meeting in Delphos.

Conley led the Bulldogs in scoring, rebounds and three-point field goals. The versatile 6-4 Conley topped Ada in scoring in 14 of their 23 games. He also set the Bulldog boys career record for made three-pointers (94).

In conference play, Conley averaged 12.8 points per game. His overall season-high of 31 points came in a 57-51 non-league win over Cory-Rawson.

Bulldog senior Jordan Bailey was named honorable mention All-NWC. The rugged 6-1 wing led Ada in scoring five times, with a high of 19 points vs. McComb.

The Bulldogs finished 4-19 overall and 0-8 in the NWC, last in the nine-team league. 

Senior guard Spencer Miller of Allen East was also named first team all-league. The Mustangs finished 10-12 and 1-7 in the NWC.

Senior Dakota Prichard of league champion Spencerville was chosen 2016-17 NWC Player of the Year by the league coaches at the Delphos meeting.  

Prichard, who averaged 18 points as well as five rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, received 117 total voting points. He finished just ahead of Delphos Jefferson senior Jace Stockwell, who tallied 114 points.

Kevin Sensabaugh led the Bearcats to an 8-0 conference mark and a regular season record of 17-5 to earn NWC Coach of the Year honors. 

Cretsview finished second in the NWC at 7-1, followed in third by Delphos Jefferson (6-2).
