Marcella A Hicks 1951 - 2017
Marcella A. Hicks, age 65, died on Tuesday, April 04, 2017 at 2:05a.m. at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert.
She was born on October 16, 1951 in Lima, Ohio to Russell and Mary Imogene (Recker) Hicks who preceded her in death.
Marcella previously worked as the secretary at the Satellite Connection. She was a life member of the Ada VFW Post #9381 Auxiliary.
She is survived by a daughter, Desiree Collins of Alger; three grandchildren: two brothers: Tom (Loretta) Hicks of Alger and Joe (Jean) Hicks of Alger; and four sisters: Nancy (Don) Coburn of Lima, Rhonda (Mike) Good of Midway, AR; Becky (Steve) Taylor of Maplewood and Connie (Mike) Stone of Alger.
Funeral services will begin at 5:00p.m.on Thursday, April 6, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger. It was her wish to be cremated following the services. Inurnment of ashes will take place at a later date in Preston Cemetery.
Friends may call three hours prior to the service from 2:00 to 5:00p.m. on Thursday, April 6, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hanson-Neely Funeral Home for the benevolence of the family at P.O. Box 41, Alger, Ohio 45812 and/or the Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice of Van Wert
