Looks good enough to eat

Kristie Steiner, Ada elementary art teacher, might have to open a restaurant. Her fourth grade art students recently completed a clay food project that looks good enough to eat. "Student chose what food item they wanted to create, practice making it with modeling clay, and then create it with the real clay. After they were fired, they painted them to look as real as they could. This is a challenging project as they are using multiple clay techniques and some experimentation as well. They turned out great and the students had fun."
