Time to clean house
By Monty Siekerman
By now, most people have a collection of unwanted electronic devices, so the ONU Recycle student group is collecting items to be recycled to protect the environment.
This free service is available to all in the Ada area, including the local community and university community.
Items will be collected from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at Heterick Memorial Library.
They will accept computers, laptops, monitors, mice, keyboards, CDs, VCRs, DVDs, speakers, printers, computer cables, floppy discs, cell phones, scanners, tablets, battery chargers, and small, broken appliances such as microwaves.
Not accepted: light bulbs, dehumidifiers, damaged batteries, refrigerators or other large appliances.
