Ada police and ReStore invite youth to SAFER Academy
Have a safe summer.
The Ada Police Department, in conjunction with the Ada Community Re-Store's summer lunch program, will conduct the S.A.F.E.R. Academy for youth in June at the Ada War Memorial Park.
The Academy takes place at the park from Monday through Friday, June 19-23 from 10 a.m. to noon. The Academy is held prior to the ReStore Lunch Program.
Ada Police Department and the K-9 team, BCI Crime Scene Unit, Ada/Liberty Fire and EMS, the Lima/Allen County Bomb Squad, will make presentations.
About SAFER - Seeking Aid From Every Resident
The Ada Police Department's S.A.F.E.R. program seeks assistance from community residents and visitors by partnering with the men and women of the Ada Police Department.
The intent is that working together Ada a SAFER place to live and visit.
ReStore lunches for youth start Monday, June 5, from noon to 1 p.m. at the park. All children are welcome.
