Swim and dive teams rate high nationally in academics
For the second time in the last three years, both the Ohio Northern men's and women's swimming and diving teams have been named College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America teams.
The Polar Bears highlighted the list of more than 700 teams across the country to receive the honor.
Both the men and women's team last earned the honor during the 2014-15 swimming and diving season.
In total, 720 teams, representing 443 institutions achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the Spring 2017 Semester.
The women's team posted a third place finish at the OAC Championships, while the men finished second at the OAC Championships under 13th-year head coach Peggy Ewald.
