Mission u held at Ada United Methodist Church
ONU hosted about 300 Methodists last week during Mission u, an annual school for laypersons, officers, and pastors from the West Ohio Conference.
Here, Rev. Jeanine L. Walker places a conference poster in McIntosh Center. She served as dean of the school. Her day job is pastor of York Street United Methodist Church in Cincinnati.
Attendees may choose from a 4-day school, a weekend school, or a one-day sampler. There was a spiritual growth study and presentations on the topic "Climate Justice." Mission u changed its name about four years ago from School of Christian Missions, which has been held at ONU in the summer for decades.
