BLUFFTON - Ada co-hosted a four-team Northwest Conference match Tuesday at the Bluffton Golf Course, which was won by Bluffton.

The Pirates won with 178 strokes, followed closely in second by Lincolnview (182). Allen East shot 207 and Ada finished fourth with 252 strokes.

"We played well," said Ada head coach Jason Campbell. "We are getting scores consistently in the high 50s and mid-60s. That's a big jump from last season. I am proud of the progress the team is making."

Austin Amburgey  topped the Bulldogs with a score of 59. Rob Allison carded  a 63 while Brevin Sizemore shot 64.  Jake Colwell  and Alex Morgan each posted scores of 66. Wyatt Badertscher added a 69.

Aaron Belcher of victorious Bluffton was match medalist with a low score of 37. Mustang Grant Whitley carded a 44 to finish tied for third individually. Rynn Moody of Lincolnview finished second wit ha 43.

Bluffton is now 3-3 and 3-1 in the NWC, while Lincolnview improved to 5-3 overall and 3-3 in the league.  Ada fell to 1-6 overall and remained winless in league play. AE is 1-4 in the NWC.

Ada plays in another four-team NWC match Wednesday hosted by Delphos Jefferson.
