Dear Editor:

We are honored to serve our community through the United Way of Hardin County.  This year we get the privilege to serve as the 2018 Campaign Co-Chairs.  We are serving in this capacity because we sincerely believe in the United Way of Hardin County and the assistance they provide to the many families and individuals in need.  This year our theme is “Red, White & U…United We Can!”  

The United Way of Hardin County partners with 20 local nonprofit agencies.  These agencies provide vital assistance programs in our community, ranging from feeding the hungry and housing the homeless to providing much needed assistance to victims of physical and sexual abuse.  

Unfortunately in today’s environment the need for this type of assistance has not decreased.  Our job is to increase awareness of these needs and to encourage you to help those in your own community by donating to the United Way of Hardin County.  If you haven’t already done so, you may want to consider payroll deduction for your donation.

It’s a fact that 99% of all funds raised by United Way of Hardin County stay right here in Hardin County!

It is crucial that we indeed unite and support each other’s families, neighbors and co-workers by donating to the United Way of Hardin County.
