Ada girls sweep Wildcats

KENTON - The visiting Ada volleyball team beat Hardin County rival Kenton in three straight sets Monday night in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs improved to 8-7 overall with the sweep, while the Wildcats dropped to 4-8 with the defeat.
Ada senior standout Melina Woods led Ada with 20 kills. Freshman Megan Light contributed a career-high 11 kills.
Ada (2-0 NWC, 2-2 away) plays a key conference match at league-leader Crestview (4-0 NWC, 9-2) Tuesday night.
It was announced today that the Bulldog match at Perry, which was postponed Sept. 11 due to a power outage during the first set with Ada leading 17-7, will not be made up.
